Tobermory Snowmobile Club
(Member of the Grey Bruce Snowmobile Trails Inc.)

The Tobermory Snowmobile Club maintains the trails from Tobermory south to the Miller Lake area, where they continue on to Lion's Head, Wiarton and the rest of Ontario. These scenic trails wind their way over the ridges of the Niagara Escarpment and around the edge of numerous bogs, fens and beaver ponds.

The majority of these trails run through forests of cedar, spruce, pine and tamarack with some maple, beech, oak and birch trees. There is very little open field running. Cameron, Cyprus, Emmett, Upper Andre and Moore are some of the inland lakes that are adjacent to the snowmobile trail.

There are scenic lookouts over Georgian Bay at Dave's Bay (Little Cove), Dunks Bay and Half Way Log Dump. Lake riding is never recommended because of uncertain ice conditions. There are restaurants, motels and gas stations close to the trail. In Bruce Peninsula National Park, camp fires are only allowed in the fire pits at Cyprus Lake campground. (bring your own wood or purchase it at Cyprus office). Washrooms are located at Cyprus office and at Half Way Log Dump.

Please remember to conserve Ontario's last frontier, leave tracks not trash and stay on the trail.
